Those of you who live in LA surely know of Abbot Kinney, it's a hipster street complete with boutique shopping and delicious eateries. Most of my trips back to LA (where I lived while attending UCLA and as a "young professional"), are dotted with a quick pitstop at Abbot Kinney, and this trip was no exception. While on the boulevard, I ate some delicious fare at Butcher's Daughter, a vegan friendly (but not exclusively vegan spot) in the neighborhood. I love this restaurant both as a former vegan, annnd because the vibe is très hip. We ordered a slew of items including the Angel Hair Carbonara made with spaghetti squash in lieu of pasta... though I'm an Italian by blood I do love a good pasta substitute from time to time, and this did not disappoint! Also loved rocking my Elizabeth & James dress, which transitioned nicely from day to night. I dressed the outfit down with a pair of white tennies (H&M) and a blue blouse.
